“Ashfall” Induced by Molecular Outflow in Protostar Evolution

چکیده

Dust growth and its associated dynamics play key roles in the first phase of planet formation young stellar objects. Observations have detected signs dust very protoplanetary disks. Furthermore, formation, gaps disk at a distance several tens au from central protostar, are also reported. From theoretical point view, however, outer regions is difficult due to rapid inward drift dust, called radial barrier. Here, on basis three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamical simulations evolution with growth, we propose mechanism "ashfall" phenomenon, induced by powerful molecular outflow driven magnetic field that may circumvent We find large grows size about centimeter inner region entrained an disk. Then, decoupled gas ejected centrifugal force, enriching grown envelope eventually falls onto edge The overall process similar behavior ashfall volcanic eruptions. In Stokes number increases reaccreting less dense edge. This allow grains overcome Consequently, phenomenon can provide crucial assist for making planetesimals possible, hence wide-orbit planets gaps.

Molecular line study of the very young protostar IRAM 04191 in Taurus : Infall , rotation , and outflow

We present a detailed millimeter line study of the circumstellar environment of the low-luminosity Class 0 protostar IRAM 04191 + 1522 in the Taurus molecular cloud. New line observations demonstrate that the ∼ 14000 AU radius protostellar envelope is undergoing both extended infall and fast, differential rotation. Radiative transfer modeling of multitransition CS and C 34 S maps indicate an in...

Is the Cepheus E Outflow driven by a Class 0 Protostar ?

New early release observations of the Cepheus E outflow and its embedded source, obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope, are presented. We show the driving source is detected in all 4 IRAC bands, which suggests that traditional Class 0 classification, although essentially correct, needs to accommodate the new high sensitivity infrared arrays and their ability to detected deeply embedded sour...

Hydrides in young stellar objects: Radiation tracers in a protostar-disk-outflow system ***

Context. Hydrides of the most abundant heavier elements are fundamental molecules in cosmic chemistry. Some of them trace gas irradiated by U V or X-rays. Aims. We explore the abundances of major hydrides in W3 IRS5, a prototypical region of high-mass star formation. Methods. W3 IRS5 was observed by H IF I on the Herschel Space Observatory with deep integration 2500 s) in 8 spectral regions. Re...

Stellar physics. Observing the onset of outflow collimation in a massive protostar.

The current paradigm of star formation through accretion disks, and magnetohydrodynamically driven gas ejections, predicts the development of collimated outflows, rather than expansion without any preferential direction. We present radio continuum observations of the massive protostar W75N(B)-VLA 2, showing that it is a thermal, collimated ionized wind and that it has evolved in 18 years from a...

Bladder outflow obstruction induced by ipratropium bromide.

Three cases are described in which bladder outflow obstruction was produced by ipratropium bromide, a widely used anticholinergic bronchodilator which has been regarded as virtually free from systemic side effects. Many patients treated with ipratropium bromide are elderly males in whom prostatic hypertrophy is common and in these circumstances, large doses should be used with caution.
